Detailed itinerary : SGN – BENTRE – CAN THO-bPHAN THIET- DALAT - NHA TRANG – QUI NHON- HOI AN- DANANG – HUE- HANOI – SAPA – BAC HA – HALONG
Day 1: Arrival in Hochiminh city
Arrive in HCMC. Meet & transfer to hotel. After check-in we have a following orientation tour around city. The particular appeal of Saigon is in its street life. Chaotic traffic, motorbikes swarm through the street, teeming market, a vivacious street life are your inspiration. A dinner cruise on Saigon river is available for your option. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 2 : Sai gon city tour - Saigon Chinatown (B)
To day we have all day city tour to glimpse the vibrant city with its highlight. Visit Reunification Palace ,which is now preserved as a museum, including the underground communications bunkers, headquarters for the Saigon Government during the American War. Nearby are Notre Dame Cathedral- an impressive neo - Romanesque cathedral & Post office – the city’s major landmark. A shot walking down the shopping Dong Khoi street offers photo opportunities. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the teeming Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale! In the afternoon we visit Cho Lon – the city’s Chinatown- a reminder of Chinese influence on the country. Cho lon is bustling during the day and night. Walk down the hundreds of small side street where peole buying and selling a huge variety of items. Stopover Thien Hau pagoda for photo shooting. Overnight in Hochiminh city
Day 3 : Caodai temple in Tay Ninh - a religious cocktail (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Coach trip to Tay Ninh (100 km). Tay Ninh is famous for its Great Caodai Holy See. - the pilgrimage place for the followers of Caodaism-a unique religion of Vietnam (A fusion of occidental and oriental philosophies, so its bible is a combination of Catholicism, Buddhism, Islam, Taoism, Confucianism…etc). The highlight of this tour is to enjoy Noon ceremony. The colorful procession parades through the temple hall are opportunity for your snapshots. After lunch at Tay Ninh, we will go to Cu Chi for a visit to the “underground village” tunnels where the heroic guerillas had been living and fighting during a long time war. Back to Ho chi Minh city. Overnight in Hochiminh city
Day 4 : Lush, Beautiful, Rustic Mekong Delta (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Mekong Delta.,through many lush orchards, immense rice fields …En route stop at Ben Luc and try some sweet grapefruit – the local special fruit .Upon arrival we embark a motorized boat trip through the narrow, tree-lined canals of Mekong Delta. Relax on boat and enjoy fresh coconut juice. Stop at Con Quy (Tortoise islet) visit Orchards farm enjoy tropical fruit. Back to boat station by rowing boat through the narrow, green and quiet creeks. Continue drive Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 5 : Can Tho - Hochiminh city (B)
Early morning boat cruise to visit Cai rang floating market. The market is filled with small boats darting through the water as vendors buy and sell their wares. Cruise through small canals and stop at a fruit orchard to taste some of the succulent fruits of the Mekong Delta. Then drive back to Hochiminh city. The road through rice paddy fields, tropical fruit orchards, mangrove swamps offers your photo opportunities. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 6: Hochiminh – Dalat (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive ahead to Dalat. Dalat bears a vague resemblance to a small French town and is blessed with lovely weather. On the way photo stop at rubber tree plateau in Dong Nai, floating village on La Nga river , Dambri waterfall . Overnight in Dalat.
Day 7:Dalat – City of Flowers (B)
Breakfast at hotel. A all day city tour with Dalat highlight sight-seeing such as : Xuan Huong lake, Linh Son pagoda, Flower gardens, Bao Dai Summer Palace, Valley of Love, Dalat Cathedral, Prenn and Datala Waterfall, Dalat market. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 8 :Dalat – Phan Thiet (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Today we proceed to Central coast. The first place we will stop is small fishing town Phan Thiet. While Phan Thiet is a pleasant town, the real attraction is the nearby Mui Ne Peninsula - Mui Me Beach is a long ribbon of glorious sand, turquoise water, and thick groves of coco palms. Visit Dragon fruit farm on the way. On arrival, check in resort. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 9: Mui Ne– Golden Sand Dunes (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning we visit fish market. In the later afternoon we have a short excursion to visit golden sand dunes, see the sunset on the fishing village. A sea food barbecue at swimming pool is for your option. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 10: Phan Thiet – Nha Trang (B)
After breakfast, depart for Nha Trang. Along the way we will see breathtaking scene, activities of farmer on the rice paddies, surprising white salt- evaporation fields. Stop at Ca Na beach for coffee break & refreshment. Nha Trang - a little pocket of sunshine where rain clouds seldom venture, has developed into Vietnam’s best seaside resort. White sand beaches, deserted bay, numerous island, coral reef provide us opportunities to swim, snoke, scuba dive or simply sunbathing. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 11: Nha Trang – 4 Island (B)
After breakfast, enjoy a half day boat trip to Tri nguyen Aquarium on Hon Mieu, visit fishing village. In the afternoon we have excursion in Nha Trang for visits of Ponagar Cham Towers, Hon Chong Promontory, Oceanographic Institute, Long Son pagoda with giant Buddhist Statue on the hill top. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 12: Flight to Hoi An (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Take a morning flight to Danang. Upon arrival in Danang pick up & transfer to Hoi An town, which was originally a Cham seaport and was a composite of many foreign influences. After check in, stroll around the ancient town, drop in shop houses, those have been run by family for hundred of years, visit tailor shops, where bargain suits are made over night, see ancient houses, pagodas. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 13 : Hoi An – Enchanting riverside town (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for the Cham ruins of My Son. Set in a beautiful green valley My Son - the former religious center of Champa’s Kingdom, is well - known as a UNESSCO World heritage. Discover the majestic ancient ruins at My son which were build in the fourth century. Back to Hoian. In the afternoon, we have an excursion to visit some major highlight of ancient town. Including the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tam Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 14 :Danang – Hue – Hai Van pass (B)
Drive to Hue via Danang city. Along the way, we make stopover at the sensational Marble Mountains, the China Beach and Danang City for visiting to the Cham Museum. Then follow the road crossing over the scenic Hai Van Pass before arrival in Hue. In the afternoon, have a short excursion to visit Imperial Citadel including Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City. Continue drive to Thien Mu pagoda – the Hue’s symbol. From Thien Mu Pagoda we take boat trip down stream to Trang Tien Bridge and enjoy sun set on Huong river. Tonight royal dinner with royal music show is available for your option. Overnight in Hue.
Day 15 : Hue – the former imperial city (B)
Today we have all day jaunt to explore Hue city. Our trip starts with visiting the tomb of Tu Duc King. The tomb is located in pine forest and has its own lake. We also visit the Tomb of Khai Dinh King – a surprisingly colorful tomb decorated with tile mosaics. Dinner cruise on dragon boat with Hue folk songs is available for your choice. Overnight in Hue
Day 16 :Hue - Hanoi (B)
Morning, take the flight to Hanoi. On arrival pick up & transfer to hotel. The rest time is free to relax after long- way -flight. In the evening we will enjoy the spectacular performance of Water Puppet show - remarkable Vietnamese art form that combines traditional music, fireworks, underwater puppeteers and elaborate puppets floating gracefully over water. Overnight in Hanoi .
Day 17 :Hanoi – Night train to Sapa (B)
After breakfast enjoy a full day city tour including the Ho Chi Minh Complex., One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Fine Arts Museum. In the afternoon enjoy a rickshaw riding around The Old Quarter and the Hoan kiem lake, Ngoc son temple. Wander around Old Quarter, where traditional guilds are juxtaposed with modern glitter. In the late evening, transfer to Hanoi train station for the overnight soft sleeper train to Lao Cai
Day 18 : Sapa- Home of colorful hill tribes (B/L/D)
arrive in Lao Cai in early morning. On arrival, pick up & transfer to Sapa & check-in the hotel. After breakfast, start a short hike to explore the colorful hill town. First, drop at Sapa market for photo shooting then walk down to Cat Cat village of H'mong tribe in the valley. Enjoy some visits to local families and stop by Cat Cat cascade. Enjoy spectacular scenery while walking. After dinner, discover Sapa by night, chat with local people to know more their culture. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 19 : Sapa – Bac Ha – Train to Hanoi (B /L)
After breakfast, drive to the colorful Sunday Market at Bac Ha which is well worth our effort to make the trip. The road trip takes about 3 hours drive. This market also attracts a wide variety of ethnic minority groups including the Flower Hmong, Dao, Tay… Mingle with the colorful crowd of hill tribe people, who come here one week to buy or sell their produces. In the afternoon, take a walk to Ban Pho where the villagers make the potent local wine from rice, corn or plum, apple fruit. Back to Lao Cai station for overnight soft sleeper train to Hanoi.
Day 20 : Hanoi – Halong (B/L /B)
Arrival in Hanoi in early morning. Let try Vietnam famous "Pho noodle soupe" for breakfast before transfer to Halong – another Vietnam highlight "must to see". En route, stop at Bac Ninh, visit Dau, but Thap pagodas Continue drive to Halong. On arrival, check in. Overnight in Halong.
Day 21 : Halong – Hanoi – Departure (B_ L )
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning we have take 4 hours boat cruise to explore Ha Long Bay - a picturesque blend of harmonious transition between the mountains and the seas, the continents and the oceans. The boat trip including visiting Dau Go (Grottos of Wooden Stackers), Thien Cung (Heaven Palace). Lunch on boat with fresh seafood. After lunch back to Ha Noi. En route stop over Dong Trieu ceramic village. Transfer to airport for departure flight.
